The hotel was great and the staff was honest. When I arrived the owner was HELPFUL. The window of my king room was facing a the mountain. The downtown is within 5 minutes' walk.

Loved the peaceful break in the mountains! Helen, the village mukhtar's wife, was a hoot. Free WiFi? It's like they read my mind! Plus, the buffet breakfast and terrace were a nice touch.
Oh, I'm so disappointed. they didn't have a souvenir shop!

I had the best experience at Lyhnos Bed & Breakfast in Askas! the hotel is beautifully designed in a boutique style with attention to every detail. the architecture, interior design, and furnishings were top-notch. the bed and bathroom with a jacuzzi were incredibly luxurious, and the views from the room and veranda were serene and relaxing. What I loved most about Askas is that it is an original Cypriot village untouched by tourism, making it quiet and peaceful. the walks around the village to the natural water spring, Kato Vrysi, and the hazelnut forest were unforgettable. And of course, the quality of the breakfast sourced with local products was superb. the hospitable owners made me feel welcome, and I am already looking forward to returning during my winter visit to Cyprus.
Not one thing! 😊

We had a fantastic experience during our recent stay in the tranquil mountain village. The boutique-style hotel was beautifully designed and furnished with careful attention to detail. Our room was luxurious, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view from the veranda. We enjoyed delightful walks around the village, exploring the natural water spring and the hazelnut forest. The breakfast, featuring local products, was of high quality. The owners were extremely hospitable, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. we can't wait to visit this hidden gem again, even considering a longer winter trip.
Although the hotel exceeded our expectations, there were a few minor drawbacks. The Wi-Fi signal was not very strong, and the TV in our room was on the small side.

The room at Lyhnos had an elegant and classy style that made me feel like a VIP. The balcony offered a breathtaking panoramic view, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The comfortable bed and seating area also added to the overall luxurious experience. As a low-budget traveler, I felt like I was living in luxury without breaking the bank.
Personally, I was not a fan of the air conditioning in the room. However, I understand that others might enjoy it, as it can be quite hot in Askas.

Nestled in a quaint mountain village, this rural hotel boasts a stunning location. the hotel sits beautifully at the top of the village, looking down onto traditional buildings and narrow winding roads. There's a nearby restaurant just a short car ride away, and the food is delicious. the spacious rooms are well-appointed, each with a clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast, which includes fresh cheese, bread, and eggs, is a delight.
Parking is a bit of a challenge, but that's typical for mountain villages.

I loved the hotel's location overlooking a beautiful valley. It was amazing to be surrounded by the traditional buildings and the fresh air was refreshing. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was substantial. The rooms were clean with great facilities and I had no problem finding parking. The hotel is conveniently close to the next villages to explore.

Spent the new year at a remote countryside resort and had a lovely time. The wooden decor created a warm and cozy atmosphere for the chilly winter nights. The jacuzzi was a nice touch, and the breakfast served outside was a great way to start the year with fresh air and nature. The local restaurant nearby served delicious food and was a short drive away.
The lack of a receptionist made it difficult to attend to small requests like a cup of coffee without calling someone. there was no common area for guests to relax in, which would have been nice.

Went during New Year's and the nearby places were heavily crowded. But there were some great places to explore. Fruits, Greek yogurt in breakfast was great. the room had a fantastic view. Had cozy comforters which were the best to snuggle under during the chilly night. the outdoor area was amazing and provided a lovely view of the mountains.
The parking area was a bit far away, parking also seemed a bit complicated. the staff was not helpful or welcoming, everyone was busy doing their own thing.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
